Men's Ministry
Men are called to lead the charge in God's kingdom, but so often we take a back seat when it comes to spiritual things. Our men's ministry is for the purpose of spending time together and sharpening one another as Proverbs 27:17 says "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."
If you are interested in serving in the men's minisrty first "plug in" to the fellowship and then ask how you can serve.
Builders of the Home
We are starting a new series that will focus on each of us teaching and learning from one another. We all have talents that need to be shared so that each of us will be as complete a man as possible. God has tasked us to provide for our families and those in need and as such we need to know how to do things. These lessons will be accomplished primarily through actual projects in our church body. Below is a list of some of the things we will cover.
| Electrical | Lawn care | Budgeting |
| Computer Networking | Bible Study | Auto Care |
| Framing | Drywall | Plumbing |
| Painting | Basic Carpentry | Devotions |
Formal Purpose
To build a thriving men’s group for support and discipleship that will be equipped to meet the needs of our homes, Church, workplace and community. Through these activities our ultimate goal is to become conformed to the image of Christ as we submit to the work Christ wants to do in us as we work on and with each other. We will apply what we learn by helping out widows, single moms, those whose spouses are away on deployment, each other, etc. as the Lord leads.
We are in the planning phase right now and will meet as needs arise. If no projects are available, we will meet every other week for things that don’t require actual hands on work. We are working on establishing the standing day and time to meet. It is probably going to be either Sat 8am or sometime Sunday afternoon/evening.
