Prayer Ministry
Prayer is one of the foundations of all we do here at CC Shreveport, therefore we put a high priority on prayer.
James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray fro one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
Prayer is a ministry that every one of us can be a part of and really see the Lord work in mighty ways. I encourage everyone to join with us in praying for each other, our church, and our community. Prayer is also a great way to remain steadfast and vigilant in our walk with Jesus as He told His disciples; “watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”
Ways to be involved in Prayer Ministry
  • Sunday Morning 9 am before church, meet under the stairs in the lobby
  • Sunday Evening 6 pm in the prayer room. This is a wonderful time of intercession and seeking the Lord.
  • Keep up to date with prayers on the Website and App
It is our honor to pray for you, therefore we have provided a link below so you can submit your request and we will post it here on the website and give it to our prayer team. Please keep in mind we may edit prayer requests to clarify the request and to avoid and possible gossip. IF you would like the prayer request to remain anonymous please let us know.

- Through the entire month of November & December: please pray for Susan. Susan has had a very hard life; she works very hard and long hours, and her life is very empty and lonely because she doesn't have Jesus. Please pray that the Lord would pierce her heart with His truth; that He would turn her heart towards Him; that He would work aggressively, in and through her heart, that she might enter into a saving relationship with Jesus. - Through the entire month of November & December: please pray for Michael. Michael has suffered for 12 years with health issues that doctor's cannot fix. Please pray that Jesus would heal Michael of his ailment, so that he can go back to work. Please ask Jesus that if He elects not to heal Michael at this time, ask that He kindly give Michael the health to return back to work. Michael NEEDS to go back to work a.s.a.p.; his situation is dire. - Through the entire month of November & December: Please pray that the Lord would grab Denise's attention, as He did with Jonah; that she would repent of her severe backsliding, and once again be in a right relationship with Jesus. I thank you greatly for your time and consideration - May God richly bless you and your ministry - Hebrews 6:11

My brother Ronnie, In FL, is 56 and is headed to hospice with stage 4 liver cirrhosis. His kidney and liver have already failed. He is unresponsive and on a respirator. He does not know the Lord, nor do his wife and three kids (15-20 years). My mom needs prayer and my sister Lisa who drove down there yesterday and also does not know the Lord.
